A little more than a year after my novel-writing journey began, I am finally approaching my destination. Yes, my debut novel will be published in September this year by Harlequin Mills & Boon and the title is {drum roll, please!} NEW DELHI MARRIAGE DEAL (NDMD).
What a journey it has been. Winning a short story contest was just the beginning and I’d no clue as to what I was getting into. With every milestone — chapters submitted and multiple revisions — I made fascinating discoveries. Not just about my characters and the plot but also the craft of romance writing.
My Hero & Heroine’s Happy Ever After ending has nicely dovetailed into a new “deal” for yours truly — a second book for the same publisher. So, on to a fresh writing journey with brand new characters.

What can I add — I know. I once knew an English lady in London who wrote romance for Mills and Boon (I think. It was more than 30 years ago). And the last book she wrote when she was in her 60s ….. SO here I wish you .. many more ‘deals’ to come !
